Many 90 Day Fiancé fans got curious to know what Patrick Mendes does for a living especially after quitting his old career as a weightlifting athlete, recently, shocking details have surfaced online about the American man’s job, and his Brazilian Fiancé Thais Ramone defends his suspicious fraudulent activity on social media.
90 Day Fiancé stars Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone have been featured as cast members during season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé aired on TLC, but little was known about Patrick’s real job especially after he quits his career as a weightlifting athlete after he wins 2 national championships, the American man also tried to qualify for Olympic weightlifting, but he failed after been tested positive for using grown hormone drugs.
However, Patrick has opened up previously about his next job after ending his weightlifting career and stated that he started working as a salesman in Texas state while selling home security services, but it turned out that the 31 old American men is involved also in suspicious fraudulent activities, such as MLM companies, aka Multi-Level Marketing Businesses and Pyramid Schemes always labeled as a scam, even though these companies are still legitimate in the US.
Moreover, a Reddit user has shared some further shocking details exposing Patrick’s suspicious activities, and they wrote:
” There are class action lawsuits against his company for all sorts of unscrupulous business practices like fraud and identity theft. Let’s say he goes to a house and sells the owner a security system but he runs the owner’s credit and it’s bad and gets denied. The Vivint rep would scroll through the phone book and find someone with a similar name and run their name for the credit check then take the line of credit out in that other person’s name. When the homeowner who fought the security system fails to pay (since they were lied to about their monthly rates) the random person from the phone book gets hit with calls from creditors. That’s just one thing his crap company has done. They fired some of the folks involved only to hire them back.”

However, 90 Day Fiancé Thais Ramone is also defending her fiancé for being involved in MMLs activities, and she replied to a fan who asked her the question:” What does Patrick do for a living? MLM?” and Thais responded:” I don’t know what MML is? But Patrick is very honest in his work and has been working hard for years, he is very dedicated”. And she also added:” When I met Patrick, he just had about 5 people who worked with him, and in these two years he had a big team and his team grew and I saw him grow more and more and more.”
Thais also explained how her Fiancé Patrick is a hardworking person when she stated:” He worked non-stop, when he went to Brazil, he didn’t stop either, always holding meetings, worrying about people, giving support”.
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans jumped right away to react to the shocking details about Patrick’s real job, and one fan wrote:” So… we’ll all get to watch another reality “star” go to court and get busted for fraud? Awesome!” another one added:” I often wondered HOW, but because the cost of living in Texas is not as expensive as California for example, I just assumed it was part of the reason why it’s seemingly feasible for him to be able to afford everything shown (and also why his bro lives with him). So glad I never got Vivint when I was researching a security system for my home!”.
In the end, are we going to see another similar sad ending for Patrick Mendes as the one for Jorge Nava?
